Four NFTs featuring the likeness of music legend Freddie Mercury have been placed up for auction on SuperRare. Launched by The Mercury Phoenix Trust, a non-profit founded in Freddie’s memory, the sale will help fund the trust’s mission of fighting AIDS worldwide.
Freddie Mercury now joins the growing list of music icons that have been immortalized as NFTs. Each of these new 1/1’s encapsulate the late Queen frontman’s essence, displayed through four vastly different artistic styles.

Featuring visuals from influential crypto artists Blake Kathryn, Chad Knight, MBSJQ, and Mat Maitland, the auction officially opened on September 20 at 11 am EST and will conclude on September 23 at roughly 3 pm EST.
